Adult People
trying to learn English begin with a wide range of language experience
and capability. KOJEN insures that its students are matched up with
other students with similar language abilities by breaking up its
skill levels into 4 basic and 9 conversational levels.
Our teachers are effective because they can prepare lessons focused
on the particular learning objectives of the students. Children
It's obvious that a child of 3 and a child
of 14 have very different needs and learn differently. It's also
true that there is a broad range of abilities in every age group,
depending on previous exposure to English. KOJEN recognizes these
differences. We have a broad base of levels for children of all
ages. Whether the child is an advanced student or just a beginner,
the KOJEN Children's Program has classes available so that any child
will be able to study with students at their level of ability and
age group.
Preschool
At KOJEN Preschool we aim to provide a happy,
friendly, nurturing environment, where children feel secure and
valued. Preschool is the time when children develop a lasting attitude
toward school and learning. This attitude should be positive. The
positive attitude results from positive experiences. We believe
children should be proud of their culture and language, even if
they are learning another at school. We don't reprove children for
speaking their first language. We create an environment where children
love learning in English, and enjoy their interactions with English
speakers. This longterm view of learning is important if children
are to truly reach their full potential.
ESP
English for Special Purposes (ESP) is a collection
of custom tailored programs aimed at specific industries, intended
for employees who must converse in English for their work.
Our current ESP programs include, among others, automotive sales
and manufacture, the insurance industry, hotels and cafes, international
brokerage houses and banks, international engineering firms, advertising
and marketing firms, Taipei City and Taiwan government agencies,
and many others.
We are constantly preparing new curriculums, as each new program
must address the specific English language need of that industry.
In addition, we also do intensive one-on-one programs with students
preparing to go abroad
Japanese
The Japanese language centers are opened with
the aim of extending KOJEN's service to another important learning
field. All teachers are native speaking professionals. Besides,
all textbooks and other class materials are prepared by the teaching
staff themselves.
The curriculum is also a reflection of KOJEN philosophy
of lifelong learning from preschool through adult.
Service for Studying Abroad
The Service for Studying Abroad provides academic advice and guidance
services to graduates who wish to complete their higher education
overseas. SSA currently liaises with over 600 colleges and universities
abroad to provide a broad range of programs and services that addresses
the needs of our clients.
KOJEN also helps overseas schools run undergraduate and graduate
programs in Taiwan.
